Arts of Kenmore is celebrating May as National Arts Education Month by showcasing the talents of youth artists in the Kenmore community.
City Gallery Exhibition
At the City Gallery (City Hall) the GenZ Digital Culture Exhibition will showcase Inglemoor High School student digital art created using new computer graphics technology funded in part by AOK's Grants for Schools initiative. On display through June.
Kenmore Middle School
Highway Haikus will engage Kenmore Middle School students in a school-wide poetry and arts project. Every class will create haikus in every subject. AOK will print a variety of haikus onto street signs for a temporary public arts installation all around Kenmore.
GenZ Art Show
For the second year in a row, Inglemoor DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) students will curate an art exhibition of regional high school student artists at the Kenmore Community Club hall, May 19 and 20.
