Learn about the the Native Peoples at Kenmore Oktoberfest, Sept. 21
Bring your kids to the Kenmore Community Club Sept. 21 from 2pm to 5pm and let them experience the culture of Kenmore's first people, the Sts'ahp-absh, who lived along the Sammamish slough near what is now Tl'awh-ah-dees Park.
Presented by the Burke Museum, the interactive exhibits offer hands-on learning about the the rich culture of the first peoples of Kenmore.
There are hands-on displays of the tools, arts, food and the community of people who lived here more than 200 years ago.
In addition, there will a history wall showing the early development of Kenmore and in the club's backyard, there will be a Rootbeer Garden with hotdogs.

Schedule for Sept. 21, Kenmore Oktoberfest Brew Row Events:
8am-11am – Oktoberfest 5K Fly Away Run begins and ends at 192/Copperworks
12pm-2pm – Dragon Boat demonstration at Tl' awh-ah-dees Park sign up for a chance to paddle on a dragon boat.
2pm-5pm – Experience the History of Kenmore at Kenmore Community Club starting with Burke Museum interactive exhibits of Kenmore's first people
2p-5pm – Rootbeer Garden with hotdogs for kids, Kenmore Community Club backyard
5pm-9pm – Bavarian Beer Garden and Band at 192 Brewing and Copperworks
