Annual Kenmore Photography contest announces winners
The Kenmore Heritage Society and Kenmore Camera announced the winners of its annual digital photography show Oct. 17. This year's contestants competed in Adult and Youth divisions and chose to create innovative photos around seven themes related to current happenings around Kenmore.
Prizes were awarded in each category for adult and youth divisions, with a special Best of Show award for the most creative entry, which went to Brooke Idol in the Adult category and Dante Quedado in the Youth category. The other winners included: Lou Novak, Jason Sperling, Kent Degrave, Annissa Walsh, Brooke Idol, Chris Tompkins, Karen Porter, and Ryan Gabbard. Participants were given 9 days to submit their most original, appealing, and creative entry in each of seven mystery categories.
Judges were made up of Board members of the Kenmore Heritage Society, Jen Boyd, Rachel Wood, the Kenmore Community Club's Youth Council and David Evans, president of the Kenmore Community Club.
The contest is sponsored annually by Kenmore Camera with business support from Windermere Real Estate, WhatSup Paddle Boards, and Cairn Brewing.
