The University of Washington Bothell campus will host a Care-a-Van vaccine clinic on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The clinic will be open members of the public who are eligible for a primary series or booster vaccine in addition to students, staff members and faculty.
The Washington state Department of Health's Care-a-Van program is a mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic that serves people across Washington state. The program partners with community and local health jurisdictions (LHJ) or departments to increase access to vaccine for priority communities.
While the focus of the Oct. 5 clinic will be on providing the recently released Omicron-targeted bivalent boosters, primary series vaccines from Pfizer BioNTech and Moderna will also be available.
Clinic appointments can be made in advance by visiting the PrepMod website, and will also be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at each location.
