Celebrate Kenmore at Oktoberfest, Sept. 19-22

Experience Kenmore's history at Kenmore Community Club

Kenmore Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is coming to Kenmore this September 19 - 22 and will host a variety of fun and interesting activities for all ages around brew row, downtown Kenmore, at Tl' awh-ah-dees Park, and at Saint Edward State Park.


Schedule for Sept. 21, Brew Row Events (7300 block of NE 175th):

  • 8am-11am – Oktoberfest 5K Fly Away Run begins and ends at 192/Copperworks

  • 12pm-2pm – Dragon Boat demonstration at Tl' awh-ah-dees Park sign up for a chance to paddle on a dragon boat.

  • 2pm-5pm – Experience the History of Kenmore at Kenmore Community Club starting with Burke Museum interactive displays of Kenmore's first people

  • 2pm-5pm – Rootbeer Garden with hotdogs at Kenmore Community Club

  • 5pm-9pm – Bavarian Beer Garden and Band at 192 Brewing and Copperworks


The Kenmore Community Club will offer family friendly activities on Saturday, Sept. 21. After the Oktoberfest 5K Fly Away Run ends at 192 Brewing, step across the street to Tl' awh-ah-dees Park on the slough for Dragon Boat demonstration. The Seattle Flying Dragon Boat Club will put on Dragon Boat demonstrations with a chance for kids and adults to try their hand at paddling a Dragon Boat from noon to 2pm (register online or in person).


Then head over to the Kenmore Community Club just down the block for an interactive history of Kenmore exhibit. The Burke Museum will offer your kids a chance to learn about the first people of Kenmore with interactive displays of the Sts’ahp-absh, the Salish Tribe people who lived in what is now Kenmore more than 200 years ago. In addition there will be history wall showing the development of Kenmore.


Then head out to the backyard of the KCC club for kids' Rootbeer Garden and Hotdogs.

The goals of the organizers are to support local businesses, celebrate Kenmore, provide a fun event for community members of all ages, and attract visitors to this amazing community.


The Kenmore Community Club will celebrate its 100th Anniversary next year and will continue its mission to connect Kenmore families to the community by providing a place to gather, celebrate, worship and make memories.
