Charcoal art classes lead October programs at the Kenmore Library



SilverKite Community Arts: Intro to Charcoal Drawing

Kenmore Library

Monday, October 30, 11am-12pm

Description: Play with the unique texture and mark making of charcoal. You will be introduced to the basics of charcoal by drawing a simple still life. Class facilitated by Valencia Carroll.

Please register. Limit 20. Walk-ins permitted as space allows.


Talk Time Class

Thursdays, 10am-12pm

Description: Practice speaking with other English language learners. Learn about American culture and meet people from around the world.

Cookbook Book Group

Kenmore Library

Wednesday, October 18, 6:30-7:30pm

Description: “Cooking with Plant Based Meat” by America's Test Kitchen. Try making a recipe of your choice from the same cookbook! Send a photo of your finished dish to the librarian host along with brief comments about your experience.

We cannot share food at these meetings, but we will watch a slide show of our cooking adventures and share successes and failures!

New members always welcome.
