
Kenmore City Council honored Suzanne Greathouse, past President of the Kenmore
Heritage Society for her Service at the February 10 th Kenmore City Council meeting.
She was presented with a clock that was inscribed “Thank you for all that you have
done for the City of Kenmore. Your contributions and legacy in our community are
timeless. We appreciate you!”
Suzanne joined the Board of the Kenmore Heritage Society in 2018 and served as the
President until December of 2024.
Throughout her tenure, Suzanne's leadership was marked by vision, passion, and an
unyielding dedication to preserving Kenmore's rich heritage. Her support and
sponsorship of various projects have left an indelible mark on the Kenmore community,
fostering a deeper appreciation for our shared history and inspiring future generations.
One of Suzanne’s favorite quotes is by Walt Disney “When you are curious, you find lots
of interesting things to do.”
Suzanne has said this described her approach as Kenmore Heritage Society President
and helped inspire all the programs, events, and transformations she fostered in
partnership with the KHS Board, community members, elected officials, artists and
Kenmore enthusiasts.
Suzanne will continue to be active in the Kenmore community and remains involved in
the countless opportunities our culturally rich community has to offer.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Suzanne for her remarkable service and leadership.
Her legacy will continue to inspire us as we move forward, building on the strong
foundation she helped create.
