Kenmore City Council honored Suzanne Greathouse, past President of the Kenmore

Heritage Society for her Service at the February 10 th Kenmore City Council meeting.

She was presented with a clock that was inscribed “Thank you for all that you have

done for the City of Kenmore. Your contributions and legacy in our community are

timeless. We appreciate you!”

Suzanne joined the Board of the Kenmore Heritage Society in 2018 and served as the

President until December of 2024.

Throughout her tenure, Suzanne's leadership was marked by vision, passion, and an

unyielding dedication to preserving Kenmore's rich heritage. Her support and

sponsorship of various projects have left an indelible mark on the Kenmore community,

fostering a deeper appreciation for our shared history and inspiring future generations.

One of Suzanne’s favorite quotes is by Walt Disney “When you are curious, you find lots

of interesting things to do.”

Suzanne has said this described her approach as Kenmore Heritage Society President

and helped inspire all the programs, events, and transformations she fostered in

partnership with the KHS Board, community members, elected officials, artists and

Kenmore enthusiasts.

Suzanne will continue to be active in the Kenmore community and remains involved in

the countless opportunities our culturally rich community has to offer.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Suzanne for her remarkable service and leadership.

Her legacy will continue to inspire us as we move forward, building on the strong

foundation she helped create.
