Learn to provide effective response during a community emergency
The Northshore Emergency Management Coalition (NEMCo) is hosting a free Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) program. The CERT basic curriculum teaches community residents how to prepare themselves, their families, and neighbors for an emergency, disaster, or other community incident.
Classes are presented by trained CERT instructors in the areas of Fire Safety, Basic First Aid, Disaster Medical Operations, Light Search & Rescue, Utility Management, and overall preparedness.
The CERT course will run for seven weeks on Thursday nights, March 28 through May 9, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Northshore Fire Department Station 51. Learn more here.
