Join us for the Summer Concert series at St. Edwards Park
There will be no community potlucks at the Kenmore Community Club hall in July and August, instead, members are encouraged to pack a picnic and attend the Concerts in the Park at St. Edwards on Thursdays: July 11, 18, 25 & Aug. 1, 6-8pm.
The summer concert series at St. Edwards Park kicks off with Irish Bluegrass band Jig Jam, which made its Grand Ole Opry Debut in Nashville in March 2023 to critical acclaim receiving a standing ovation from a sold-out crowd on Country Music’s biggest stage. The group was joined on the night by Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Steve Earle, Lauren Alaina, and many more.
Annie J delivers a close and personal blend of retro soul and modern pop. Her vocal mastery and presence as a performer make for a playful and moving display that pays homage to acts like Dusty Springfield, Martha and the Vandellas, or Remi Wolf and Elle King.
Born and raised on the east side of the Cascade Mountains in Washington State, Annie J kicks it with the finest musicians on and off stage, working as a vocalist with Seattle Rock Orchestra, The True Loves, Odesza, The Dip, Allen Stone, Mike McCready, Ayron Jones, Jimmie Herrod, Barrett Martin and the late blues legend, Cedell Davis, to name a handful.
July 25 - Kupono + Hula O Lehualani (Hawaiian music)
Kermet Apio, Pete Tabali and Elias Ka'uhane blend their individual musical talents and their love of Hawaiian Music together to create some "ono" music for the soul.
A high-energy mix of Mexican Folk, Colombian Son and African Rhythms
Locarno is the Latin project of JUNO Award winning musician, Tom Landa. Like him, the music is equal parts Mexican and Canadian. Tom was born and raised in Mexico City, and moved to Canada in his teens. In the mid nineties he formed the Folk Roots band, The Paperboys, who have been touring world-wide for over 20 years.
The Community Potluck that takes place at Kenmore Community Club on the first Wednesday of each month will resume Sept. 11 at 6:30-9pm.
