Registration is open for the 8th annual Northshore Fun Photo Contest!
Kenmore Heritage Society’s Northshore Fun Photo Contest kicks off Sept. 17 at Kenmore Camera. This year's contest adds a new twist, providing an opportunity for participants to win $500 for a local Community Charity/Non-Profit. You will have nine days to create photographic entries based on five subject categories. The contest is all about creative interpretation for each category.
This is the 8th year for the photo contest, and the first year of the Charity Challenge. Organizations are encouraged to build a team of photographers to participate for charity cash – the more photos submitted, the greater the chance of winning. The $500 Charity Challenge Award will be chosen from the first place winners in each of the five categories submitted by the Charity Challenge organizations.
The Fun Photo Contest is open to ALL, in addition to the Charity Challenge, individual cash prizes will be awarded in each of 5 mystery categories in Adult and Youth divisions. Photographers don’t need to live in Kenmore to participate, however contest photos must be of subjects from the “Northshore Schools” area. There are no special camera requirements – iPhones work great!
This is a family friendly, community building activity so encourage your kids, neighbors, and grandkids to take pictures and submit for individual prizes or as part of a Charity Challenge
Organization!
The contest is all about creativity and having fun. Winning photos will be shared on the Kenmore Heritage Society website.
