Enforcement at school zones to begin this month
Installation of cameras for the Kenmore Automated Photo Enforcement (KAPE) program will begin in the Kenmore Elementary school zone on 73rd Avenue this week and in the Arrowhead Elementary school zone on Juanita Drive next week.
Photo enforcement is scheduled to begin mid-march in the Kenmore Elementary school zone, and a start date for the Arrowhead Elementary school zone will follow shortly after. WSDOT is currently reviewing construction plans for the red light camera at 61st Avenue and SR 522. Each location will have a two-month warning period once cameras become active.
