Join us and celebrate our 100th Anniversary with monthly potluck presentations
The Kenmore community Club was formed in 1925 by a group of city pioneers who wanted to bring city services to the fledgling town of Kenmore. Residents were invited to meet at Mitchell’s store at the corner of what is now 68th Avenue NE and Bothell Way as chronicled in Kenmore by The Lake, a history of Kenmore.
The Club was organized primarily for citizens to discuss local issues such as road construction, fire protection, and voter polls. Indeed, the first Water District Commissioner was Frank Telquist who was president of the Kenmore Community Club at that time.
To celebrate our 100th Anniversary the club, in cooperation with the City of Kenmore, is reaching back to our historic beginning to present a series of potluck presentations about the essential city services that make Kenmore a great place to live. Bring the kids, a dish to share, and enjoy a meal with friends and neighbors and learn about what keeps Kenmore running.
