The Kenmore Farmers Market continues on Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. during the months of July, and August at NE 181st St between 68th Ave NE & 67th Ave NE & Kenmore’s Town Square.
Access and patronage for nearby businesses will be maintained, and parking will be available for market shoppers at City Hall.
The market will host a variety of local vendors, with a focus on sustainably grown produce. City of Kenmore staff will be planning, operating, and managing the market with guidance from experts in the industry.
“The new Kenmore Farmers Market will give our community access to a wider variety of healthy and sustainable food options and will support our local Kenmore businesses," said Kenmore Mayor Nigel Herbig. “It will also be a great opportunity to connect outdoors with neighbors and friends on a weekly basis this summer.”
The Kenmore Community Club will host a booth at the Aug. 3 Farmer's Market and needs volunteers to staff the booth. Contact Michael O'Leary if you'd like to help out.
Kenmore Farmers Market operations beyond the 2022 pilot program will be evaluated as part of the biennial (2023-2024) budget process later this year.
