Kenmore Senior Women's Shelter moves four elder women off the street

Lake City Partners announced that even though the Kenmore Senior Women's Shelter is not yet officially open, they have been able to move four elder women off the street and into the new shelter in the former Mary's Place location.

This is entirely due to the speed at which the county, city and community rallied to ready the Kenmore Senior Women's Shelter in time for winter. They are still waiting on some vital equipment before the space can officially open, but the organization is very grateful to be so close to the finish line and able to accept these four women.
