The proposed new shed on the Kenmore Community Club site will undergo Landmark Commission review because it involves new construction within the boundaries of a designated landmark.
The project scope actually falls under the Type II category for design review, entailing a Certificate of Appropriateness (CoA) application and determination hearing by the Kenmore Landmarks Commission.
The club has submitted the application and will have the plan on the agenda for the July 9 Design Review Committee meeting and the July 23, Landmarks Commission meeting.
If you’d like to attend the meetings, the Design Review Committee meets at 11 am, July 9 on the 8th floor of the King Street Center, 201 S. Jackson St.
The Landmarks Commission meeting meets at 4:30 pm July 23. Call 206 477 7976 for meeting location.
