If you enjoy exploring the natural outdoors and meeting new friends, head to Wallace Swamp Creek for a free guided nature walk!
On the second Monday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m., through October, the City of Kenmore’s volunteer leader Linda Phillips will offer guided tours of Wallace Swamp Creek Park. The next tour is August 9th!
The nature walk explores two miles of paved and primitive trails through the 25 acres of the park. In the past, Linda has taught the group about flourishing crops of oyster mushrooms, fresh deer tracks and several nesting birds, among other things!
Tours start at 9am at the kiosk at Wallace Swamp Creek Park parking lot, 19851 73rd Avenue NE, Kenmore. Participants under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent. Bring a pair of binoculars and a love for the outdoors!
