The former Tia Romeo and Capps Club site will be redeveloped into a townhouse and 7 story mixed use apartment complex with 105 residential units with two levels of parking and 2800 square feet of commercial space.
The project will entail demolition of the existing building on the 1.27 acre site on Bothell Way. The development notice files with the City of Kenmore stipulates that 95 of the units will be market rate with another 10 units of affordable housing.
The complex will include a 7 story mixed use apartment building along with a smaller 4-story building the will provide 10 townhouse-style units adjacent to the apartment building.
The new owner is listed as Kenmore Urban, LLC, which filed the application of the planned redevelopment on October 10. The comment deadline of 11/18/19 for the project has passed. The city has reviewed the project and is expected to issue a determination of non-significance for the project, meaning it will be approved.
