Nominations for KCC Board are open

October is time to nominate someone for the Kenmore Community Club Board

The Kenmore Community Club is fast approaching the annual election of its Board of Directors in November. All members in good standing are eligible to nominate themselves or another member for a position on the board. Kenmore Community Club members are urged to get involved and help to keep making the club better and growing by joining the board.

In all, there are 5 board positions up for election this year:

  • President (1 year term)

  • Vice President (1 year term)

  • Secretary (1 year term)

  • Treasurer (1 year term)

  • Regular Trustee (2 year term)

  • Trustee at-large (1 year term)

To nominate yourself or another member you think would be a great addition to the board, you must be current in your annual dues payment and have participated in at least one volunteer opportunity in the Kenmore community. It doesn't have to be volunteering for the club, it can be any volunteering you do in the Kenmore community. Nominations are accepted throughout the month of October. The election will be held Nov. 13, 2024.

If you think you want to jump in and get involved in this vibrant community club, fill out a nomination form to nominate yourself.

Nominations are accepted throughout the month of October and up to Nov. 12 the day before the potluck/election. The election will be held Nov. 13, 2024. See the blog post on nominations for how to nominate yourself or a fellow member for the board.

Eligibility

According to the club's bylaws all members who have paid dues by March 31 of the current year and who have participated in at least one club activity during the year are members in good standing and eligible to serve on the board and vote in the election, Nov.13, 2024.
